Life can be hard. You don't have to go it alone. I can help you manage emotions, develop skills, and find inner harmony to help you heal.
Couples and Relationships
Relationships are hard, but having the right tools can help ensure that they stay strong by fostering love and trust with your partner. I have completed Gottman level 1 and 2 training, and I am specially equipped to handle issues related to kids, trauma, and affairs. I am also able to work with all kinds of couples and relationships, including LGBTQ and polyamorous relationships.
Individual Counseling
I am well versed in a variety of counseling models. I believe that everyone is different therefor there is no "one size fits all" counseling model. My preferred modalities include Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Therapy, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Internal Family Systems Therapy. I am currently able to see individuals age 12 and up.
LGBTQ+ Counseling
Being a member of the LGBTQ+ community and as a transgender person, I know that being on the western slope can be difficult at times. I am specially equipped through training and personal experience to help you on your journey. I am honored to be able to support the LGBTQ+ community in Montrose and surrounding areas and I truly look forward to getting to know you.

Other Services
Family Therapy
My experience as a teacher and former school based therapist give me special insight into the struggles of families. I provide family therapy services to families with kids above the age of 13.
Life Coaching
Sometimes you just need help navigating life's difficulties without exploring past traumas. I offer life coaching services to cash-paying clients or clients without Medicaid or insurance. This is a great option if you are seeking the skills of a masters level clinician but without exploring past traumas.
